Das war sehr ekelig! | Antje: Ok, so I was climbing with a friend, and right at the end on the final route I slipped at a height of 1 metre and fell with all of my weight straight into my ankle joint. My foot was at a 90-degree angle from my leg. It was disgusting! |

Dann haben wir den Rettungsdienst gerufen und ich wurde auf einer Trage in den Rettungswagen geschoben, habe Schmerzmittel bekommen, und im Krankenhaus haben sie mir dann noch mehr Drogen gegeben, damit sie den Fuß wieder richten können. Das war sehr spannend. | Antje: And hurt a lot. Then we called the rescue service and I was put into the ambulance on a stretcher, was given painkillers, and then was given more drugs in the hospital so that they could realign my foot. That was all very exciting. |

Ich habe… auf einmal… hat sich mein ganzer Körper aufgelöst. Ich hatte gar keinen Körper mehr. Und ich war nur noch eine Schnecke… ähm… in einem… *beide lachen* | Antje: I asked afterwards. They gave me ketamine and midazolam to put me in a good mood and to make sure I was relaxed and didn’t perceive too much. And it worked. I… all of a sudden my whole body dissolved. I didn’t have a body anymore. I was just a snail… erm… in a… *both laugh* |
| 15 | Antje: …in einem Wirbel von Schnecken. Jede Schnecke war ein Universum und alles war voller Licht. Und ich habe gedacht, habe so komische Gedanken gehabt, wie „ok ich bin nur eine Schnecke, und wenn ich jetzt sterbe, ist das nicht schlimm, außer, dass ich irgendwem nicht tschüss sagen kann. Und dann habe ich mich wieder von einer Schnecke in einen Menschen verwandelt und sie hatten den Fuß eingegipst. Das war sehr gut. Ich habe nichts davon mitbekommen. | Antje: …in a vortex of snails. Every snail was a universe and everything was really bright. And I thought… I had weird thoughts like, “ok, I’m just a snail, and if I die now it’s not bad, unless I don’t have the opportunity to say goodbye to anybody. And then I transformed from a snail back into a human and they had finished putting my foot in a cast. That was very good. And I didn’t perceive any of it. |

Man muss die Ruhe bewahren, immer lieb zu den Schwestern sein, dann bekommt man nämlich extra Kaffee und vielleicht einen zweiten Nachtisch. | Antje: You should definitely keep headphones with you, because your bed neighbours might snore, and usually do. You should stay calm and always be nice to the nurses – that way you get extra coffee and maybe a second dessert. |

But it was very well equipped terms of the medical equipment. I’m glad I ended up there. |
